Marsport Tribute to Trouble

"Tribbe" is owned by me and will have her puppies here in my kitchen. She is a frozen semen breeding of Ch. Evansport’s Triumphant Trouble, my 1988 Westminster Kennel Club Best of Breed winner. Trouble’s dad was the number one show Brittany in his day, my great buddy and a fabulous bird dog. Tribbe is outstanding in the field. Trouble was also ranked the number 6 show Brittany in his day. Tribbe is a great housedog and loves her cuddling and she too sports some of the top AKC show and field genes in the country. Puppies from her last breeding (to a different sire), have made wonderful companions and great hunting buddies. Tribbe works the field thoroughly and at a good gun dog range. She retrieves to hand.

ABOUT ROOK

Rook is the personal companion and housedog as well as the hunting dog of Peggy and Larry Snider. He is a sweet boy and all man. He brings to this breeding top show and hunting genes. Rook easily attained his AKC show championship title and his AKC Senior Hunt Test title. These titles are something special. It proves that the dog is an outstanding hunter, a dog that works for you without command, points, honors, is steady to wing and shot and retrieves to hand.  He was sired by American Brittany Club’s (National Amateur Gun Dog Champion, Dual Champion-American Field Champion) NAGDC-DC-AFC CH. Triumphant’s Too Hot To Handle (Nitro). In addition to these top titles Nitro was also a number 5 ranked AKC show dog during his main show career, a significant achievement indeed. rook

Rook shares many of Nitro’s genes. Rook has been commended by hunt test judges for his bird finding ability and the aggressive way he works the bird fields. Nitro’s and Rook’s field and show genes combine some of the best genes available in the country.

Rook “I have had Brittanys all my life, but Rook is my first male. Our boy has convinced me that regardless of gender, Brittanys are the only breed for me. Rook is curious and full of life. He is quite engaging and happy to tell you so. He is very bright and the most trainable dog we have ever had. He finished his AKC Senior Hunt title after 6 weeks of training sessions in just four weekends out, greatly exceeding our expectations. He hunts at full speed ahead, but within a comfortable range and rarely misses anything. He truly loves his job. At home Rook is happiest when he is with us, eager to oblige with kisses and hugs, but is content to nap when left alone. Rook is also dual pointed. (A show champion plus points toward a field championship.) Rook’s dad, Nitro, is a Dual Champion, was the 2008 National Amateur Gun Dog of the year as well as a BISS (Best in Show Specialty) winner, a previous top 5 ranked Brittany nationally, and an Award of Merit winner at Westminster.” Peggy Snider.
